Viewing of the comet Pan-STAARS will be available at Laws Observatory, at the top of the University of Missouri Physics Building. This is the first time the comet has come close enough to Earth to view with the naked eye. Laws opens at 7:00 pm, the comet should be visible approximately 7:45 pm, with a 30-minute window to get an image. Dress for cold weather! The observatory will be open for three nights, tonight through Thursday night, from 7-10 pm each night.
