Pet Parade & Safe Trick-or-Treating, 5-8 pm
Location: Stephen’s College Journey Plaza to Kimball Ballroom, Lela Raney Wood Hall, 6 N College Ave, Columbia MO 65215

Students will show off their pets in Halloween costumes at 5 pm on Journey Plaza, the quad south of Walnut Street. The parade will wind through campus, across the College and Broadway bridges and back to Lela Raney Wood Hall, where the trick-or-treating event will begin. From 6-8 pm, members of Mortar Board and other campus clubs will be stationed around the Kimball Ballroom, passing out candy and overseeing activities for children.

Are you teeny? Then come to Halloweenie! A safe and fun time for the little ones, trick-or-treat at your favorite stores and restaurants. Everyone starts handing out candy at 4 pm and the festivities are usually over by 6 pm.

Come in costume to this fun and educational family event. Candy will be available at each station, as well as crafts, activities, and information about Missouri ghosts, pumpkins, bats, and more! Brave visitors can also explore the Kid’s Cave and the Ghostly Gallery and enjoy a gallery tour guided by the “spirit” of Eliza Bingham, second wife of Missouri’s famed painter George Caleb Bingham.

The Lifetree film features an investigation conducted at a location long associated with unexplained happenings. The film is part of an hour-long discussion on the plausibility of ghosts and other paranormal phenomena.
According to Lifetree Café representative Mikal Keefer, “This is a rare chance to join a paranormal investigation team on an actual case. We’ll see exactly what happened and hear investigators explain what it means. And we’ll share our own stories of the supernatural.” Pizza provided.

Happy Halloween!

Halloween Walk, 4-7 pm

Fall Festival, 6-8 pm

The Christian Fellowship Fall Festival is a family-friendly, safe, and fun alternative to Trick or Treating. The entire church facility is filled with bounce houses, games, and fun for kids of every age. Candy given out at every game booth and a child should be able to leave with plenty of candy to satisfy them! Most children who attend (as well as many adults) come in costumes. However, costumes are not required. In order to maintain an environment where even the smallest children feel safe, they ask that you choose non-scary costumes. Parents are invited to bring their children, ages 0-12, to the festival. Games will open at 6:00 and close at 8:00. Concessions will open at 5:30 and close at 7:00. Admission is FREE!

SPOOKtacular, 6-8 pm

Annual free Halloween event. Formerly known as Tiger Night of Fun. A great alternative to going door-to-door, this event promises lots of fun, activities and treats for kids ages 12 and under.
Shuttle transportation available: Limited space is available on the Parks and Recreation mini-buses. Children must be accompanied by one adult. To register for the shuttle, call the Armory at 573-817-5077.
