It is the first Friday of July, and that means First Friday is happening tonight from 6-9 pm in the North Village Arts District (downtown—Walnut street from College to 9th and north to Rogers). Check out all the art and other fun!
First Friday (FF) is a free gallery crawl when the North Village Arts District will collectively open its doors, encouraging residents, visitors, and tourists to explore and appreciate the ever-growing collections of art and entertainment that diversify and energize our community. Come explore the unique venues and enjoy the live music art and entertainment, and some venues will have light refreshments. A map/guide postcard will be available at the venues.

◾Rose Music Hall – Dave & Dyno with the Roadkill Orchestra – happy hour 5-7pm
◾Sager Braudis Gallery
◾Artlandish Gallery – Over 50 Artists works and live music by Pound Cake with Elizabeth Palmieri & Gabe Meyer then Gabe solo, and then Grandma’s Soup. And edu-music by dr. Chordate, 6pm—bring the kids!
◾Talking Horse Productions
◾Orr Street Studios will be hosting the opening reception for Matt Moyer’s fabulous exhibit. Music by JOEL ANDERSON JAZZ!
◾Resident Arts at Orr Street Studios will host a demo by Kristen Abbott this Friday. Last minute plan.
◾Yoga Sol – Kirtan, Sing, Chant, move (7-8pm). Kirtan Chanting starts at 7pm. Relaxing, soulful way to start out the night.
