The schedule for the summer concert series at Shelter (Insurance) Gardens has been announced!

The 39th season returns with six performances on Sundays at 7 pm, through June and July. Note that there will be no concert on July 5. Each summer, the Sunday evening shows typically draw crowds of 1,000 or more music lovers to the Shelter Insurance Gardens, where well-groomed, colorful flora offset the cedar concert gazebo—intended to evoke nostalgia for a time gone by, when traditional summer outside band concerts were a regular thing in smaller communities. The concerts are free and open to the public. Those attending concerts should bring blankets or lawn chairs. Also, Shelter Insurance will often provide hand fans to visitors, especially on hotter days. If you have young children, setting up a blanket toward the back of the garden is a great way to enjoy the music while letting the kids wiggle, and even enjoy a snack. We highly recommend bringing and drinking lots of water or similar beverages to stay hydrated. In case of rain, the event may still be held, and you can check the Shelter Insurance Facebook page for updates. The below concerts are also on the FCMo calendar.
