Artrageous Weekend is wrapping up today with the last day of the 2014 Boone County Art Show and a few more events.

11 am-5 pm – 55th Boone County Art Show
Boone County National Bank, 720 East Broadway
Nearly 200 works from professional and non-professional artists are on display and on sale for art enthusiasts. 187 artworks, almost all of them created in Boone County, ranging in price from $23 to $8,000, sculptures, oil paintings, jewelry, watercolors, glass, wood, graphite and colored pencil drawings, fiber works, painted gourds. The show is free and open to the public. Remember to pick up a voting slip and cast your ballot for the People’s Choice Award. Note: While not specifically mentioned in announcements, around 4 pm is often an awards ceremony, so seeing the show earlier in the day is recommended.

Free Bracelet making with fair trade beads and seeds from from the Guatemalan rain forest. Bring the kids for a fun and easy activity!
