MAA Kids Event:
Women Artists

The next kids class with the University of Missouri Museum of Art and Archaeology (MAA) is scheduled for next Thursday, March 12, 2015. The class starts at 3:30 pm, and is scheduled until 5:30 pm, but the program usually wraps up a bit earlier than that; attendees leave when the kids are done creating their art. The class is intended for kids, grades K-8. Limit two children per adult.

Get your spot now! Register by calling 573-882-3591. If you get voice mail, leave a message with kid(s)’ names and ages, and parent phone number.

MAA events are held at the new location for the museum: Mizzou North (formerly Ellis Fischel) (115 W Business Loop 70). Meet in the lobby.

The March program is about Women Artists: Look at the artwork in the Museum made by women, especially Faith Ringgold, whose art is influenced in part by quilts. Some things may surprise you. Kids will make their own artwork based on one of the styles of the art they find.

These classes are excellent! They are relaxed, friendly, fun, and the kids learn so much! Our kids always love going! Tell anyone who might enjoy this event by using the sharing icons below.
