Enjoy the great weather and check out a fun outdoor activity this evening! The Columbia Public Library has been hosting fun and interesting cemetery tours, and the next one will be tonight from 6-7:30 pm. The location for this Cemetery Walking Tour is Little Bonne Femme Baptist Church (5350 E Bonne Femme Church Rd). This event is for all ages, and participants age 12 or younger need to have an adult with them.
Meet at the cemetery for an atmospheric evening walking tour and learn about the history and art of the Little Bonne Femme Baptist Church cemetery, including the customs and symbols. You will also learn about the evolution of American cemeteries. It is recommended that participants wear comfortable shoes. While this event will be canceled if raining, the forecast is for temperatures in the low 80s and mostly sunny. Sunset is at 8:08 pm—after the event is over.
Registration is not required, so just show up and enjoy!
