The Armory shows children’s movies on the first and third Saturdays of the month, starting at 6:00 pm. Tonight they showed “Big Miracle” [PG] about trapped whales in Alaska. We loved it–and it was thought-provoking. It is better seen by slightly older kids (10+)–mostly for language, and adult relationship situations. We like the casual atmosphere, and kids can wiggle some without it being a big deal. Free popcorn and drinks (usually Hi-C) are provided. Some kids seem to come just for the snacks and air conditioning; the monitor does address excessive disruptions. The next three movies are
